The build quality is solid and the occasional drop shouldn’t cause any damage. Not much has changed in design. It’s fairly bland looking and is of similar size to earlier models.
There are no significant new features in what the E1550 offers compared to earlier budget Huawei models. It does have an updated version of the firmware which should help improve stability and connection drop out. (Posted on 6/22/11)
