How to install ZTE USB Modem on Windows


 

 

 

Installation

Insert the USB Modem into an available USB port on your PC. Windows will detect the new hardware automatically and install a USB storage device which, depending on your AutoPlay settings, will pompt you to run the Setup application. If it doesn't, open My Computer and double click the icon for the new drive:

Specify where you want the program files to be copied to (leave at the default values unless specifically required):

Double click the "3G" icon on your desk top after installation, the following window will be displayed:

Open the Settings menu and select Connection. Click Add:

On the "Common" window, Leave the "Dial number" at the default value of *99#.

Enter a suitable name for the "Config name", this can be anything meaningful to you simply to identify the profile.

Once all settings have been entered click "Save".

Select the "Configuration name" you created and click "Apply"

To initiate the connection, just click the Connect button:
