ZTE planning to invest $314 Million Facility for China Unicom eBooks

Chinese telecom equipment maker ZTE is planning to invest 2 billion Yuan or $314 million in constructing a facility in China to support the eBook service of China Unicom.

According to Bloomberg, ZTE, which furthermore makes mobile device, is planning to extend business from its centre service of trading telecom equipment.

ZTE said in an emailed declaration that the new facility will support the WoReading service provided by Chinese wireless carrier China Unicom.

ZTE currently has a history of working with China Unicom, having evolved the WoStore for the wireless phone service provider. The shop had organised to capture 60 million users in its very first year.

A good portfolio of internet founded service will give ZTE a hand in accomplishing its aim of turning into one of the top mobile phone makers in the world by 2015.
